how to spend a Sunday evening in Hong Kong - get your laptop and flat hijacked by 5 guys from 4 different countries. (Thank you Lingzi for helping me out for a few moments there..)
Well, at least I finally got to watch “Little Miss Sunshine,” which has been on my laptop, ignored, for maybe a year now. The movie was a laugh, although I think I need to do a little more thinking before I can really form a stronger statement about it.
Here’s to more movie nights (and Crumbs yogurt, which I’m currently addicted to - thank God there’s one 2 blocks away from where I live) with Dutch, Colombian, Chinese, Filipino, Indonesian, and Polish people! :)

Girls Night Out : the Pre-Party “Shoot”

Hello, World!

Meet my lovely friends! (These are all backlogged photos from our epic May 6 Girls’ Night Out at Republiq :)

We had a super impromptu photo shoot in my mess of a room that night -

Ravishing brainiac Mayen and musical prodigy Den:

I tried to shoot from this angle to take the tornado-stricken bed out of the picture, literally, but it was too dark:

so they had to sacrifice the better background for better lighting:

(clothes on the bed were Tiff’s rejects! haha)

Mathematical genius Tiff and…. me :

I wore the highest pair of heels I own. Unfortunately, they died after wearing them for the first time ever. Too many drinks spilled on the floor and people stepping on each others’ toes.

Tiff, who brought nothing but a black top that night (aside from office clothes), still ended up in her staple look despite having to borrow clothes from me (!) :

Definitely doing this again! I have more pictures from my Photo Booth, which I’ll be posting soon :)

xxx,

Yeni

Friday the 13th

what I’m wearing tonight :)

thank God I still fit into this dress after a super big company dinner in which I had two whole servings of everything on the buffet table (including lechon, tacos, chicken, veggies, soda…). Win! haha.

life of Yeni

"you, the great confidant. the robin to every batman, the satellite to every planet. you're a bright star shining behind the shadow of another. a great spectacle of magnificence dying to be discovered. a great enigma it is that no one cares to notice. that none dared to see through and beyond the lines and your flaws. a brilliant dancer waltzing away alone with little people who dared to watch.
