I need to take a break from writing. I have 1 academic contribution (10,000 words), 2 500-word essays, and a strategic marketing plan to finish by December. So bear with me if this blog gets a little uninspired over the next few weeks. Worry not, however, I’ll be making up for it with pictures. These two were taken in Tsukiji Market (築地市場 Tsukiji shijō), Tokyo. Located in central Tokyo, it’s supposedly the biggest wholesale fish and seafood market in the world and also one of the largest wholesale food markets of any kind. I was being lazy to explore and/or line up for the uber-fresh sashimi+fruit, and my sister was able to, in true voyeur fashion, capture my essence of sloth quite skillfully.
